Heavy Wooded Lot Clearing

A project example showing dense palmetto and brush opened up while established trees remained in place.

Before

Dense palmetto and brush beneath established trees before clearing
Palmetto, vines, and low brush covered most of the visible ground.

After

Open ground around retained trees and a palm after underbrush clearing
The same view shows open ground with the established trees and central palm retained.

Starting Condition

The before photo shows palmetto, vines, and low brush filling the ground beneath established trees beside a paved edge. Very little open ground is visible.

Practical Objective

Open the understory and make the ground easier to see and approach while keeping the established trees and central palm that define the site.

Approach

Selective understory clearing opened the ground around the retained trunks instead of removing the full stand.

What the Photos Show

The paved edge, central palm, and surrounding trunks provide matching reference points. The paired photos show dense low growth before the work and open ground with processed vegetation afterward; they do not establish acreage, location, schedule, or a future use for the site.
